The incumbent Governor of Ekiti-State, Kayode Fayemi, has revealed why he met with the National All Progressive Congress Chieftain, Bola Tinubu.
There had been speculations of a clash between the two colossal figures of the APC party after both had revealed their ambitions to contest for the upcoming 2023 presidential election.
However, there was a closed-door meeting between the duo on Wednesday 12th January, in which the aim was to discuss issues regarding the ambitions of both of them.
Fayemi revealed why he met with Tinubu earlier today, and he stated that contrary to the rumors about a clash between them, they only met to talk about issues of the party. He also stated that he has so much respect for Tinubu.
