2023: Peter Obi Reacts To A Man Who Threatened To Drag Him To Court If He Doesn’t Declare His Interest Now

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, who was also the former vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the last presidential election, 2019.

However, as the 2023 presidential race fast approaches, many politicians have been showing and declaring their interest in participating in the upcoming election, which Peter Obi and some politicians have yet to openly declare their interest in contesting.

Meanwhile, many Nigerians have been anticipating hearing him (Peter Obi) declare his interest in succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023.

A Twitter user, @FakeBuhari, warned Obi to declare his interest now for president or be ready to face legal action from him/her. He also advised Obi to leave the ongoing AFCON football match to former Abia state governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, and focus on his calling.

His tweet reads, “Sir, if at the end of this month and you don’t declare interest for presidency in the 2023 election, then be ready for a legal action from me. Leave #AFCON2021 for Orji UZOR Kalu, that’s his calling, not yours. Your calling is excellent economic leadership. Congrats #TeamNigeria”

Peter Obi, on the other hand, immediately replied to the Twitter user who could be his die hard fan to give him time and added that he doesn’t have money to spend on a court case.

“I wish I knew your real name. But the truth is, I don’t have money to spend on a court case o. Give me some time 🙂 “, Obi replied.
