The Former Governor Of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu has tendered a sincere apology to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after making an alleged blunder days ago.

Recall that, BEST NEWS NETWORK posted that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who recently declared his intention to contest for the President of Nigeria in the upcoming election, made an alleged blunder toward INEC officials.

The incident happened during his meeting with APC women leaders in Abuja, where he mistakenly stated that some of their Permanent Voters Card has expired, that they should endeavor to renew their cards.

This got on the bad side of the INEC director, Rotimi Oyekan who lashed the All Progressive Congress National chieftain.

Earlier today, Bola Tinubu via his media team has tendered a sincere apology to INEC officials and staff for his wrong statement.

“I sincerely apologize for any issues, my statement has caused, I also appreciate the patriotic attitude of the Independent National Electoral Commission staff and personnel in ensuring a free and fair electoral process for all Nigerians”.
