The Nigerian Chief of the army has ordered the release of a female soldier that was arrested after a corper proposed to her in uniform.
The incident happened a few weeks ago after a video surfaced online where a male corper proposed to a female soldier at an NYSC camp, which she accepted.
The incident generated reactions after the Army authorities detailed the soldier over alleged violations of the armed force code of conduct.
However, the Nigerian chief of the army, General Faruk Yahaya has ordered the force to release the female soldier that was arrested after a corper proposed to her in uniform.
The family of the corper meets also revealed that the duo was rumored to have been in a relationship for over three years before the incident.
