The family of the male corps member who proposed to a female soldier in Kwara has revealed more details about the relationship between the two adults.
Recall that, weeks ago a video surfaced and trended online, in which a corner named, Remi was seen proposing to Sofiyat Akinlabi, at a Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp which she gladly accepted.
The video generated reactions online, as people were quick to repost and congratulate the new couple on their engagement.
However, the joyous celebration hit the rock after the female soldier was detained by the Army Authorities, who stated that the code of conduct of the Armed force was violated.
Following this, the family of the male corps member, who proposed to the female soldier, had revealed more details about the relationship between the two adults.
The family stated that the duo has already been dating three years before the incident in Abeokuta, but they were a little separated after the female joined the Army force.
The family appealed to the armed forces to release the detained army.
