No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus Christ, according to a Facebook post by famous Islamic scholar Doctor Zakir Naik.
“O People of the Book (Jews and Christians),!” he says, quoting a verse from the holy Quran. Commit no excesses in your religion, and mention nothing but the truth about Allah. Believe in Allah and His Messengers.
Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, was (nothing more than) a Messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him. Say not ‘Trinity’: refrain; it will be better for you; for Allah is only one God: Glory be to Him: (far elevated is He) above having a son. All things in the heavens and on earth belong to Him. And as a Disposer of affairs, Allah is sufficient.

Only God, on the other hand, knows who is worshiping him. Christmas is a time of love and sharing between people. It may not be Christ’s birthday, but it is a day that brings people from all over the world together in love and sharing. Is it not enough to ask for well wishes from all people to humans for the sake of the unity and love that it brings?
