During the Arise TV morning show, the Nigerian journalist and presenter, Oseni Rufai, reacted to the rumor that he is harboring some sort of political gathering following a picture of him, Peter Obi, and Jandor at his father’s tribute.

He made the statement after Dele Alake and Mr. Onanuga asked Arise News to sack them. While urging Arise News to sack Oseni Rufai and Dr. Reuben Abati, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s (PCC) Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, and its Director of Strategic Communication, Mr. Dele Alake, accused Arise News of being biased against the APC Presidential Candidate, Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu. However, the Media Group released a statement telling the APC that that would never happen!

As regards this, Oseni Rufai stated that these same people went ahead to take a picture of him, Peter Obi, and Jandor at his father’s memorial, calling it a political gathering.

According to him, “They even went further, and thank God Dr. Abati was there.” They took a picture of Peter Obi, me, and Jandor on my own father’s day of tribute. They couldn’t even allow my father to rest in peace before they brought my father, my dear father, and the love of my life into politics while I was still breathing and labeled it a political gathering.”
