The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami has revealed why Kanu will be released by Buhari.
Recall that, there have been several warnings by the Indigenous People Of Biafra over the arrest of their leader, illegally in Kenya. An association of Igbo leaders visited the president and all associated stakeholders to beg for his unconditional release all to no avail.
However, Malami has revealed why Kanu will be released by Buhari during an appearance on a Nigeria Television Network (NTA) show.
He stated that Muhammadu Buhari can only release Kanu, because of the interest of over 200 million Nigerians.
The president acts in the interest of the people, and he can only take such acts based on the interest of his people.
