A 400 level student of University Of Ilorin, that trended days ago over lecturer assault, has finally revealed why he beat his lecturer to Coma.
Recall that, the student named Salaudeen Waliyu, (Popularly called Captain Walz) was a microbiology student of the institution, whose name made rounds on the net after he was arrested by the school authorities over alleged misconduct towards a Lecturer.
Waliyu was interrogated in police detention and he revealed why he beat his lecturer to coma.
He stated that he traveled to Lagos, a few months ago and was innocently lynched for a thief, beaten by a mob, and later arrested by the Police, where he spent over two months before he was released.
Due to his illegal arrest, he couldn’t complete his Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme. When he resumed he approached his supervisor, explained the situation, and asked for a waiver, but she insisted that he would have to wait till the following year.
Waliyu, constantly went to beg his supervisor, seeking her help but she remained adamant.
On the day of the assault he went to beg again at her office, things went intense and the female lecturer threw a mug at him, which later resulted in him assaulting the lecturer.
He was immediately arrested by Police Officers.
