A video featuring Senator Oluremi Tinubu, now First Lady, has surfaced online, sparking controversy over alleged threats made towards the Igbo community in Lagos. In the video, Mrs. Tinubu purportedly warns Ndi Igbo during the 2019 general election that failure to vote for the APC could result in being chased away from Lagos, with their properties and businesses inherited.

The footage, shared by investigative journalist Mr. Jackson Ude on social media, has raised concerns about the reported consequences faced by the Igbo community in Lagos for voting against the APC, particularly referencing the loss of properties and businesses.
“According to the investigative journalist, Mr. Jackson Ude, who shared this on his social media handle, stated that in the recent development in Nigeria, Lagos to be precise, it’s happening already. Igbos are losing their properties and businesses for voting Labour Party.”
