The house of the senate had engaged in war with the Nigerian Navy over the takeover of Nigeria’s largest ship NNS ARADU.

This is coming after the ship has been abandoned for a while now by the Navy officers over alleged issues of mechanical fault and others. The Senate once tried to seize the ship, but the Naval authorities denied access to the ship.

Earlier today, the house of senate declared war against the Nigerian Navy over the take over of the ship.

Senator George Thompson Sekibo from Rivers East constituencies raised the motion during the plenary session, today and 12 other lawmakers supported him.

Who stated that NNS ARADU is one of the biggest Ships owned by the Nigerian Army, built by one of the best shipbuilders in the World in 1982.

The ship has toured different nations like; China, Gabon, Congo, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, and other countries worldwide. The ship is being held unnecessarily by the Navy, whereas it can be utilized by the OPEC, Marine, and others.
