Former Governor of Lagos, and National leader of the All Progressive Party, Chief Asiwaju Tinubu has made an address after his official return to Nigeria, after spending over three months abroad.
Recall that rumors circulated online last month that the Jagaban Tinubu was dead, but was later debunked by President Buhari who went to visit the APC chieftain, and revealed that he was only undergoing surgery on his right knee and physiotherapy in the United Kingdom.
Tinubu landed in Nigeria, Lagos on Friday and has made an address to update and give thanks to all his supporters, via his media aide.
“Tinubu only went to the United Kingdom, to undergo a knee surgery and nothing more, all other news are rumors, the surgical procedure went well, and his currently recuperating, and recovering without any complication”.
The APC national leader also extended his greetings to the President Of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Gbajabiamila (House of Representatives Speaker), APC Governors, Party elders, those praying for him, and others for their visit and well wishes.
Although there are speculations that All Progressive National Chairman will be the running candidate of the party during the 2023 general presidential election, this has not yet been confirmed already. The members of the All Progressive Party are not commenting on the issue as there are also rumors that former President Of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele has decamped to the party to contest also for the presidential election.
