Former Vice President and Presidential Aspirant, Atiku has made a statement over the illegal raid on Mary Odili’s home.

Recall that, it was reported that in the late hours of Friday, 29th of October, Justice Mary Odili’s residence was raided by the Economic Financial Crime Commission Nigeria Police Force, Ministry of Justice, and some alleged Security operatives.

This has raised a lot of reactions as people condemned the attack made on the Supreme Court Judge.

When the case was investigated, the raiding was carried out with a search warrant by Justice Emmanuel Iyan, the Chief Magistrate of Wuse, Abuja, who claimed that he was forced to sign the warrant by the Attorney-General of the Federation and minister of defense, Malami Abubakar under deceit.

The minister of defense was quick to debunk the statement and proved that he has no business or any relation with regard the Mary Odili’s home raid.

Atiku released a statement over the illegal raid on Mary Odili’s residence and regarded the act as disgusting and undemocratic.
“How could a law enforcement agency, illegally raid the house of a Supreme Court judge, such activities are should be prohibited and it depicts a very poor image of Nigeria”.
