The trial for the arrested Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra leader has taken another turn after FG filed new 15 Charges against Nnamdi Kanu In Court.
Recall that his case has been ongoing for the past six months at a Federal High Court in Abuja, presided by Justice Anyako. During the early days of his case, reporters, media houses, and bloggers were not allowed into the courtroom.
A suit was filed by Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejiofor, at a High Court in Abuja over the violation of fundamental human rights and dehumanization. Kanu won the case, and the judge declared that the press should be allowed into the courtroom with any form of harassment.
His case was postponed to today, January 18, but there was a new turn after FG filed new 15 Charges against Nnamdi Kanu In Court.
Kanu was charged with a seven-count charge on a treasonable felony before another eight was added, making a total of fifteen.
