The president of Nigeria, Muhammed Buhari is set to appear before the UN over Justice Odili Home Raid.
A lot of crisis has been ongoing for the past few weeks after the residence of Justice Odili Mary, a judge of the Supreme Court was illegally raided by alleged members of the Nigerian Police, Department of State Security Service, Mobile Police, and Soldiers on the alleged orders of Abubakar Malami, the minister of justice and AGF.
However, four days ago, the Police unveiled a 14 man gang, that went to perpetrate the act, and confessed to having been hired by Malami to act as a fake Police, lawyer, EFCC, and DSS officers. Though Malami was quick to debunk having any association with the arrested suspects.
However, Muhammed Buhari is set to appear before UN over Justice Odili Home raid, after a group named Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) petitioned the United Nations Special Rapporteur on matters regarding the independence of judges and lawyers, Mr. Diego García-Sayán, to conduct a impartial, transparent, flawless investigation into the illegal raid made on Justice Mary Odili residence by rogue officials.”
