According to sources, there are speculations that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will extend the national convention date scheduled to happen on February 26.
The members of the All Progressive Congress party have been thrown into chaos, regarding the election of the party’s national executives. The party has been led by a set of the caretaker committee who was elected in 2020, led by Mai Buni.
Buni has failed to hold a convention for the party and had been trying all possible antics to buy away time to conduct the party presidential election primaries.
After much pressure from the president, February 26 was fixed for the convention, but close sources have disclosed that the APC reconciliation committee will extend the national convention date.
The extension was needed to reconcile with all aggrieved party members all across the country.
