Proscribed Biafra Nation, IPOB, has released a powerful message following the demand to release Kanu by President.
Recall that, during the past week, on Friday, a faction of Igbo leaders paid a visit to Buhari at Aso Rock to demand the pardoning and release of Biafra People convener, Nnamdi Kanu after being detailed and tried for over four months.
However, the request was indirectly turned down by Buhari, who stated that the court is not in his ball as it interferes with the judiciary’s work but may be considered.
Following this update, Emma Powerful, the IPOB media and publicity spokesman, released a powerful message over the demand to release Kanu by President.
He stated that the proscribed group would fight and bandits who unlawfully kill and maim innocent people in Nigeria.
Powerful also asked that any killing in Nigeria should not be associated with the Eastern Security Network. The killing was carried out by unknown gunmen and bandits sponsored by corrupt politicians and disguised as members of ESN.
