The president of Buhari of Nigeria is set to meet with all APC Governors over the current crisis rocking the party regarding the National convention.
The meeting will have the attendance of Mai Buni, the Caretaker Chairman committee of the party, Abubakar Bagudu, Nassarawa, Katsina, Lagos Plateau, Ekiti, Jigawa, Ogun Kwara, Kogi, Imo, Borno, Ebonyi, Lagos, Zamfara, Niger, Kano, and Cross River state Governors. Where they will discuss issues that caused the party’s division into factions, way forward for the party, going to meet our leader”, he said.
There have been speculations that Buhari wants to meet with APC Governors to discuss and incline towards the way forward for the All Progressive Congress party and shed more light on the planned national convention.
Recall that the issue of the National convention divided members of the All Progressive Congress into factions; some members are soliciting that the annual event should be held before Christmas, and others oppose that it should be held at the second quarter of next year.
