Few hours ago, the presidential flag bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, addressed the people of Ebonyi state during a presidential rally which held at a stadium in the state.
The former national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said, “we (I) will make the south east of Nigeria the Taiwan of Asia when I become president. We will not go backwards into the days of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) because we are Progressives. We will continue to move Nigeria forward.” He then asked, “do you all want to go back to the days of the PDP?” The mammoth crowd responded with a resounding “no!”.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while addressing the people of Ebonyi state, again said, “I remember when the People’s Democratic Party was in power. They spent sixteen billion dollars on electricity but could not fix it.”
Lastly, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu thanked the state’s Governor; David Umahi and all those who graced the function. He hopes they stand united in order to achieve their aim.
In another development, before Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed the people of Ebonyi state at the stadium, he was conferred a title by the state’s council of traditional Chiefs.
