The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the 2023 elections, Omoyele Sowore, on Wednesday has disclosed that he’s not afraid of Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi’s support base which is gaining more popularity everyday mostly among the youths.
Omoyele Sowore made this known in an interview on Channels Television after he was asked if he was angry by the huge support that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, whose support base is mainly youths, has received.
However, in response, Sowore noted that he’s not moved by Peter Obi’s recent popularity, adding that Peter Obi was not even known in the political system of Nigeria when he started politics.
Additionally, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) challenged Peter Obi to a debate where they would both discuss about the happenings in Nigeria.
Sowore said, “Peter Obi was not even known when I fought the military in 1992/1993. His campaign is relevant, but it doesn’t address the issues of the country, so it’s childish.”
