Mr. President Muhammed Buhari has talked about the possibility of releasing Indigenous People Of Biafra Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Best News Team reported yesterday, that a group of colossal Igbo leaders comprising Chukwumeka Ezife, Barrister Goddy Uwazrike, Bishop Sunday Onuha, Chief Mbazulke Amaechi (former Minister of Aviation) paid a visit to Mr. President at his office in Abuja, where they demanded the release of their son, Kanu from DSS detention.

However, earlier today, Buhari has talked about the possibility of releasing the convener of Biafra proscribed group, Nnamdi Kanu, which he revealed that the request for the release of the Biafra group leader, may be reviewed, but it does not align with the absolute law of separation of powers that must be respected between the judiciary and executive arm.

He also stated that the decision will be a heavy one, and difficult to decide, because it will confront or interfere with the task of the judiciary arm of Government.

Kanu also won the Human rights infringement suit that he filed against Abubakar Malami, minister of justice, AGF, and the Federal Government at a high court sitting in Abuja.
