3 Students Shot as Gunfire Erupts Near Wike’s Residence

In a disturbing incident, three students have been shot at Lifecamp Government Secondary School, located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The shooting occurred within the school premises on Thursday, raising concerns about the safety of students in the area.

The incident unfolded just 500 meters away from the residence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, adding a heightened sense of urgency to address the recurring issue. A source speaking to Daily Post highlighted the distressing regularity of gun violence at the school, describing it as a yearly routine.

According to the source, “Bad boys came to school with guns to fight, three students were shot, and police arrived late.”

Expressing frustration, the source emphasized the need to raise awareness about the alarming situation, stating, “This shouldn’t be happening in the heart of Abuja by small children, and nobody is doing or saying anything. It seems to be a trend every year; something deadly must happen in that school.”

The Lifecamp Government Secondary School is situated directly opposite the Lifecamp Police Station, further emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
