Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu, hs told the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to get set for the job ahead him as President.
He said things unfolding indicated that he would become the country’s leader come May 2023.
According to him, all is left is to claim God’s nod since He has the final say.
Adamu spoke on Thursday during a town hall meeting Tinubu is having in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Adamu referred to President Muhammadu’s happiness on the way the campaign is going, saying the future was very bright.
Adamu, a former governor of the state, noted that Nasarawa was filled with mineral resources that must be tapped for progress, saying the country must move away from the slogan of ‘potential’ to reality.
Adamu said, “Benue will say it is the food basket of the country. But we are the food that gives the basket value. There is a solid mineral deposit in every local government and development area
We are tired of potential. We want the real thing.”
