Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi has stated that he will singlehandedly put 50,000 Ebonyi people on the field to welcome Bola Tinubu
Umahi, while speaking on Channels Television, announced that the state will be holding its rally for the All Progressive Congress presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the 22nd of November 2022 and it is going to be massive
Umahi said that he doesn’t need any support from neighboring south East states and that he will gather 50,000 people on the field to welcome the former governor of Lagos state
However, this is coming after Channels TV presenter, Seun, asked if the Ebonyi APC is scared of a takeover from other political parties in the state in the coming election
According to him ” If anybody tells you that there is another party in Ebonyi aside from the All Progressive Congress, APC, you should tell the person to shut up. This is because you can’t challenge what I have done in Ebonyi state. I am very proud of what the APC has done in Ebonyi state. There is no political party that can take on what we have done in Ebonyi and on the 22nd of this month, we will be having a rally. I am announcing that no support should come from any south East state, only Ebonyi people and I am very sure that I will pull out 50,000 supporters to welcome our presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu ” he said.
