Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has tendered an apology to former All Progressive Congress National Chairman Adams Oshiomole for working against the APC in the Edo State gubernatorial elections.

Recall that on Tuesday, November 16, Oshiomole arrived Rivers State to comission the Rumuepirikom Flyover in the state’s Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.

The Rivers Governor expressed his delight at Adams Oshiomole’s visit and assured him they are now friends, urging that they should bury the hatchet.

He (Nyesom Wike) also expressed his regret over working for the re-election of Edo State’s current Governor Godwin Obaseki (in 2016) saying that the he shouldn’t have done so

Meanwhile, Governor Nyesom Wike, who has had a fallout with Obaseki and other PDP chieftains (including PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar), has invited members of the opposition to the state’s projects. 

The Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has also extended invitation to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, to inaugurate some projects in the State.
