Aloy Ejikafor, the lead counsel to Biafra activist, has revealed why Nnamdi Kanu trial was adjourned to November 19, 2021.

Recall that the last trial for Kanu happened weeks ago after he has been detained at the DSS headquarters for over three months, during the trial no reporter or media personality was allowed access into the court by the DSS. An application to move Kanu from the DSS office to a correctional center was made, but unfortunately, it was rejected by Justice Anyaolu, over claims of the alleged jailbreak, and the case was adorned to November 5.

Earlier today, via a tweet Kanu’s lawyer, announced expressed his disgust and unhappiness that the case has been adjourned to November 18, but he also stated why the Nnamdi Kanu trial was adjourned.

He stated that he has allegedly sued Buhari to court in August, asking that Kanu should be returned to Kenya where he was illegally abducted, he also asked the Federal Government to pay a gross sum of N5 billion Naira to compensate for damage made on Kanu reputation and infringement on his Fundamental Human Rights.

Also recall that the members of Kanu proscribed group, a 12-day ultimatum to Buhari, to release their leader or t, the forthcoming election in Anambra will be disrupted.
