We Have Taken A Stand, Tinubu Must Emerge President – Buhari Vows

According to Vanguard, ahead of the 2023 presidential election, President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday at the flag-off of Bola Tinubu’s campaign in Jos, Plateau State said that he will work with the All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholders for the election of Bola Tinubu as his successor come 2023.

It was gathered that President Buhari made this statement in his brief speech at the campaign venue in Jos. He said, “the party has taken a stand and we are going to support and campaign for him to be elected president of Nigeria. I’m not going to read a long speech, I am here to hand over our party flag to him.” President Buhari added by saying, “We have taken a stand, Tinubu must emerge president.”

No doubt Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the APC has a solid structure and stands a high chance of winning the election. The challenge he may likely face is that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party is enjoying unprecedented support and followership from his Obidient Family. Do you think that Obi’s ambition poses a threat to Bola Tinubu? Feel free to share your thoughts on this.
