In a candid interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, he admitted to his past involvement with d.rugs, emphasizing his fallibility.
Timaya recounted how he got introduced to dr.ugs during the lockdown when he encountered a group of seemingly content young men who found happiness through a dr.ug called Mòlly. Intrigued by their joy, he tried the substance and soon became addicted, leading to significant weight loss and a loss of a substantial amount of money.
The music star’s addiction also had professional repercussions, as brands became disinterested in working with him, and he developed a reluctance to engage in business calls.
