Caretaker of the All Progressives Congress, Mai Mala Buni is set to host a national convention for the party after much pressure’s from party members.
This is coming after much crisis has rocked the All Progressive Party, and members have pressured the caretaker chairman committee to conduct a national convention for the party.
The Head of the APC faction fighting for the convention, Aliyu Audu, stated that the national convention help to resolve the tension and crisis within party chieftains and colossal figures across the country.
Mai Buni, celebrated his 54th year yesterday, during the heat of the celebration, Aliyu Audu asked that Governor Buni should conduct the convention, to allow new leaders to be voted and elected.
Mai Buni has failed to react to the development, but there are speculations that his delaying the convention, to retain his seat as the Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressive Congress.
