Famous singer Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, widely known as Bella Shmurda, has implored the Nigeria Police Force to promptly release the body of his late friend and fellow artist, MohBad. Expressing concern over the prolonged delay in obtaining autopsy results, Bella Shmurda highlighted the impediment it poses to arranging a dignified burial for the departed singer.
The controversy surrounding MohBad’s death led to the exhumation of his corpse for autopsy in September. Since then, the police have maintained silence on the matter, leaving Bella Shmurda frustrated and seeking answers.
In a post via X on Saturday, November 18, Bella Shmurda directed his inquiry at the Police, demanding information on both the whereabouts of MohBad’s body and the results of the autopsy. His post read, “It’s been over 2 months since Moh died, and his body was taken in for autopsy but no result. Please release his body; that boy needs a befitting burial and to go rest finally. Naija police, what’s going on? We need answers here. Where is the result? Where is the body?”
