The trial of the detained IPOB leader has taken another dimension as the proscribed group sacked Alloy Ejimakor as Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer.
Recall that Alloy Ejimakor has been serving as the lead counsel of the Kanu legal team since his trial commenced after arrest in Kenya and repatriation to Nigeria.
Earlier today, new terrorism charges were added to the trial of Kanu after being tagged by Buhari for causing unrest in the South Eastern of Nigeria.
Our Insider stated that the IPOB group sacked Alloy Ejimakor as Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer because they could not believe he was incapable of successfully defending Kanu with the new charge that was added to his case.
