According to sources, the Eastern Security Network (ESN)a wing of the Biafra group leader has been arrested in Enugu by the Nigerian Army Authorities.
Recall that the ESN wing has been acting as a security to the agitation group, and has on several occasions fought for the secession movement.
The ESN leader was arrested in Enugu by the Nigerian Army Authorities during a stop and search operation in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The news of the arrest was made known by the Army Public Public Relations Officer, General Onyema Nwachukwu, who spoke with the Nigerian Agence News of Nigeria.
Onyema also alleged that one AK-47 rifle, approximately 21 rounds of 7.62 mm special bullets, and one phone was collected from Godwin Nnamdi, the militant leader.
