After an alleged proposal made by the Federal Government to consider a political solution regarding cases of secessionists in Nigeria, Igboho has declared his stand over dialogue with FG.
The legal crisis that has been involving the two key agitation fighters in Nigeria has been going on for over four months now, Chief Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho) being held down at Cotonou Prison, after he was alleged to have used a fake passport, intending to fly to Germany.
Nnamdi Kanu was also apprehended by Nigeria Authorities In Kenya and was repatriated to Nigeria, where he has been detained at the Department of State Security Service In Abuja and has been appearing in court to face the seven charges slammed against him.
A proposal was made by the AGF, and Minister of Justice, Malami (SAN) who preferred that a political solution may be employed to tackle the legal crisis of the two fighters.
However, Igboho has declared his stand over Dialogue With FG, via his lead counsel, Barrister Yomi Aliyu SAN, who started that the proffered solution might the best to solve all these issues.
He said, Igboho has accepted dialogue with the Federal Government but will all be based on thrashing issues regarding the Improvement of Yoruba land.
He said as the Government has finally acknowledged that no force on earth can subdue the mantra of self-determination, fair treatment, and due process should be followed concerning the rule of law.”
