An association of Igbo Leaders has paid a visit to their detained son, Nnamdi Kanu, at the DSS detention facility where he is being held.

Mbazulike Amaechi led the visit, a 96-year-old former lawmaker, followed by some colossal figures and dignitaries of the Igbo tribe and the director of the faith Dialogue Forum, Bishop Sunday Omaha.

Recall that, few weeks ago, BEST NEWS NETWORK reported that the same set of people led by the former lawmaker, Mbazulike Amaechi, said a visit to the president of Nigeria, Buhari, at his office in Federal Capital Territory Abuja.

The visit was based on a move to secure the release of Kanu, who is currently being tried and held at the DSS headquarters since June 24, over a seven-count charge that was slammed against him by the Federal Government.

However, the association of Igbo Leaders also paid a visit to Nnamdi Kanu at the DSS detention yesterday to interact with him.

The visit was made known to the public by Nnamdi Kanu’s close relation via Twitter.
