During an attack on civilians in Abaji, Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Saturday, gunmen abducted a Department of State Services operator.
During the midnight encounter, the hoodlums also killed a vigilante member, according to PUNCH.
The armed guys are claimed to have attacked a DSS outpost in the area after invading the neighborhood in large numbers.
During the gunfight with the DSS operatives, the gunmen were successful in kidnapping one of them.
Josephine Adeh, a spokesperson for the FCT police, said she had no information about the event and referred any enquiries to the DSS.
However, as of the time of reporting this article, the secret police’s spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, has yet to respond to enquiries.
