The visit of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Abeokuta residence in Ogun State has stirred reactions online.

Best News Network earlier reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain visited his former boss on Saturday morning to discuss his presidential bid in 2023.

Atiku arrived at the penthouse residence located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) around 10am and went straight into a closed-door meeting with Obasanjo.

It was learned that Atiku arrived in Abeokuta on Friday alongside his aides ahead of Saturday’s consultation with the former Nigerian leader.

Atiku, the Waziri of Adamawa, is expected to also meet the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.

Following the development, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their views regarding the meeting between the two leaders.
