The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned Femi Fani-Kayode to court again over an alleged fraud and money laundering case.
Recall that the commission arrested Fani-Kayode in 2018 over fraud, embezzlement, and forgery of documents. Though he was later released on bail until he was apprehended by the commission after three years again around November 2021.
Earlier today, EFCC) arraigned the former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, to court again to face a total of 17 charges which were mainly laundering of a total of 5 billion nairas.
The trial was held at a Federal High Court in Lagos, where he was charged alongside Nenandi Usman (Former minister), Yusuf Danjuma, the CEO of a big conglomerate.
They all pleaded not guilty and were released on bail, with the case adjourned to February 11.
