Association of Dowen College parents has fixed a date to honour the death of 12 years old Sylvester that died unjustly last week.
The announcement of Sylvester’s death was met with different reactions, as people were quick to kick against the death and request justice for the young lad.
Dowen College parents has announced that on December 8, a candlelight session will be held to honour the death of Sylvester Oromoni.
The association also stated that it is working with the school management to ensure justice for the deceased child and also put preventive measures in place to avoid reoccurrence of such incidence in the school.
“The association also called out to all parents to be cautious of what their children do, monitor who they associate with, and also correct them from any bully act.”
“Such cases of bullying, molestations, happens in other boarding schools in Nigeria, the system needs to be renovated.”
More so, the Lagos State Police Commissioner investigating the incident revealed that three out of the five accused students have been arrested, while two are on the run.
