A national chieftain of the People Democratic Party, Raymond Dokpesi, has revealed when the presidency position will reach the South-East geopolitical zone.
Zoning of the presidential position during the upcoming 2023 presidential election has become an issue that have divided parties into factions.
The struggle lies between the southwestern and South Eastern, who have both laid claims to the position without giving up the position for each other in different parties.
Earlier today, Raymond Dopkesi revealed when the presidency position would reach the south-East geopolitical zone.
Dokpesi, who was also the chairman the Technical Committee for the Presidential Campaign Movement of former Vice president, Abubakar Atiku, stated that the position will be shifted to the zone in 2027.
He revealed that Atiku has promised to only use four years in office, and after his one term administration, he would step down.
