CAN Appeals for Unity Amidst Supreme Court Judgment

The leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kaduna State, Rev John Joseph Hayab, is asking Nigerians to come together and work towards creating a more powerful country under the new government.

The leader of CAN was responding to the Supreme Court’s decision to support President Bola Tinubu’s election.

In a statement he made on Thursday, Hayab said, “Now that our highest court has made a decision based on our laws, any harmful arguments and attacking someone’s character between political parties and supporters of political candidates should end. Instead, we should focus on coming together, recovering, and working together for progress and unity.”

Nigerians should always value and show respect for the judiciary to promote peace and a peaceful living together in the country.

He said that Nigerians should not let themselves be used to split the country because of political disagreements.

Hayab encouraged Nigerians to come together and support the individual that the Supreme Court has confirmed, in order for progress to happen in the country.

Everyone should come together with love to support the new government and make sure they are doing a good job.
