Deji Adeyanju, a human rights activist, has used his official Facebook account to speak out about the country’s security difficulties in the north. The security situation in Northern Nigeria has been concerning for some time, prompting the “NORTH IS BLEEDING” protest.
Deji Adeyanju, on the other hand, argues that while Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was in office, he received more criticism from Northerners than President Muhammadu Buhari. He went on to suggest that if these Northerners had spoken up while Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was president, insecurity in the North would not have deteriorated.
He wrote;
“Whosoever supports evil will eventually become a victim. The North is a killing field because Northerners are refusing to speak up like they did under Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
“The excuse now is that their brother is the president and they can’t speak against their own. We will all be waiting for when another person from another region becomes president so Northerners start activism.”
