‘I Died In A Car Accident’ – Yul Edochie

Renowned Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared a profound reflection on a harrowing incident from 2019 when he survived a car accident that he claims nearly claimed his life. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actor expressed gratitude to God for giving him a “second life,” emphasizing that it wasn’t a second chance but a second life.

Edochie pledged to live his newfound life for God, His word, His will, and humanity. While he hinted at providing a more detailed account of the incident later, the actor’s message underscored a transformative moment that reshaped his perspective on life.

He wrote: “In 2019 I died in a car accident. But God gave me a 2nd life. Not a 2nd chance but a 2nd life. God told me that my first life was for myself and it was gone. But the 2nd life He gave me, I would live for God, for His word, His will, and live for humanity. I’ll break it down later.”

In a separate instance, Yul Edochie expressed his commitment to respectful engagement in politics. Despite his support and admiration for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the actor stated that he would never insult the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi. Edochie acknowledged Obi as a great Nigerian and emphasized his respect for him, suggesting that if God wills it, Peter Obi could become president.

The actor’s dual messages highlight his personal and political reflections, showcasing a commitment to a more purpose-driven life and a respectful approach to political discourse.
