Rotimi Adelola was born on August 15, 1958, in Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. Despite his birth in Ondo City, his ancestral roots trace back to Araromi-Obu, where he holds the title of a Prince. His academic journey is equally impressive. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Ibadan. Prior to this, he earned an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Lagos and a B.Sc. degree (Second Class Upper) in Social Sciences from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University. He also expanded his horizons by attending institutions such as the International Development Ireland in Dublin, the London Management School, and the Harvard-Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in the USA.

Political Career

Rotimi Adelola’s career includes a significant political role. He served as the Secretary to the Ondo State Government under the administration of Olusegun Mimiko. This position, which he held from March 19, 2009, to February 24, 2017, showcased his leadership and administrative abilities.
