Prior to this, he earned an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Lagos and a B.Sc. degree (Second Class Upper) in Social Sciences from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University. He also expanded his horizons by attending institutions such as the International Development Ireland in Dublin, the London Management School, and the Harvard-Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in the USA.
