Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Nigerian human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has disclosed that enemies of the state are conspiring to stop and frustrate the plans to use the bimodal voter accreditation system in the election.

According to Femi Falana, beyond going for rallies, Nigerians must stand up and insist that the right thing should be done ahead of the 2023 general elections. Femi Falana stressed that people must defend their votes under the new electoral act.

Femi Falana also recalled that when some people wanted to stop the electronic transmission of results, the vigilance of Nigerians ensured that such move did not see the light of day.

Femi Falana encouraged Nigerians that such vigilance is still very much needed especially as we head to the 2023 general elections. He opined that it is only the vigilance of Nigerians that will stop the plot of those who want the use of BVAS stopped.

Femi Falana stated “the enemies of democracy are trying to frustrate INEC from realizing the objective of the law”.

Femi Falana stated this between the 0 and 2nd minute during an interview.
