Former Senate President, under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, Anyim Pius has revealed interest in the upcoming Presidential Race.
The People Democratic Party National Convention as slated, started today and will end tomorrow, during the annual convention, a new national chairman will be elected and also issues regarding the upcoming general election will be discussed.
Anyim Pius reveals interest in the upcoming presidential race, earlier today, while addressing journalists and reporters, and stated confidently that he will make sure to secure the presidential ticket under the aegis of the Peoples Democratic Party.
He also revealed that the current issue of zoning will not hinder him from securing the presidential ticket under the People Democratic Party even if it does not favor his region.
” I have waited so long to make this announcement, I did not want to pose an attack to Buhari Government, though in 2020 posters rolled out, I decided to keep to stay low, because it was too early, but I think now is the ripe time”.
He also stated that Uche Secondus, that was suspended as the national chairman, has no choice but to step down, even after dragging the party to court, they hold no grudges against him.
