According to our correspondence, 1 traveler was burnt, 7 others were killed while dozens were abducted at a nearby village by bandits in Katsina.
The incident was affirmed by the Deputy Speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly, Shehu Tafoki, who gave a full details about the incident.
The traveler was ambushed at Gusau road at Mailafiya village, he was stopped, hacked to death and they set him ablaze in his car.
After their evil act, they attacked a village called Kwakware, where, where they abducted and molested approximately seventeen women, and also spoiled properties and assets.
