“You Dont Have The Authority” – Sanwo-Olu Sends Powerful Message To Fashola, See Details

The Governor of Lagos State Sanwo-Olu has sent a strong message to Raji Fashola over the issues of infrastructure and assets that have been their bone of contention.

Recall that, on the 18th of November, the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, headed by Raji Fashola, published an advert in the newspaper, advertising the infrastructure and assets of selected federal roads in Lagos state.

This raised reactions from the Lagos State Government, who quickly published to the masses that the Federal Ministry has no right whatsoever to advertise the assets.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy of Lagos state, Gbenga Omotoso, released and signed a statement countering the advertisement made by the federal ministry.

However, today, Sanwo-Olu sent a powerful message to Fashola (Former Governor of Lagos State).

He stated that the Federal Republic Of Nigeria’s constitution vested the power to advertise hoarding of assets to the Local Government under the supervision of the State Government.
