The socio-political activist that gained fame during the EndSars protest, Aisha Yesufu slam Pastor Kumuyi, the General Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, stating that “you are worse than political leaders” after he commented about respecting past leaders.
Recall that, the vice-chancellor of the Ajayi Crowther University, Bishop Dapo Asaju, recently deliberated on the fact that Nigerians religious leaders needed to interfere in the current political situation of Nigeria.
Pastor, W.F. Kumuyi, in response to this, stated that it was very wrong for born-again believers, to disrespect past political leaders who have failed to keep their promises.
The cleric further revealed that genuine Christians, should love their neighbors, neither should they disdain, people in authority or power because they couldn’t fulfill the promises they made during the electoral campaign, or neither should they think that destroying government property is a retaliation.
This made Aisha Yesufu slam Pastor Kumuyi, stating that “you are worse than political leaders” because clerics enslave their followers.
“She further stated that most clerics are in support of bad governance, which aids them in practicing cheap miracles”.
