Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, revealed on Tuesday that he has successfully saved a substantial sum of N110 billion within his first three months in office. Speaking at a meeting with Estate Developers and Residents’ Associations in Abuja, Wike emphasized that these savings will be strategically allocated to expedite ongoing projects.
Wike stated, “Three months in office, I can tell you authoritatively, I have saved not less than N110 billion for the FCT, and this money will be attached to projects so that people will see indeed that the taxes we are paying are being utilized for the interest of the people.”
Additionally, the former Rivers State Governor shared plans for the Federal Capital Territory to launch a buses and taxi scheme in the upcoming month.
